    • It is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including middle ear infections (otitis media), strep throat, tonsillitis, and sinus or skin infections.

  2. Can Omnicef be mixed with milk or juice?

    • Yes, it can be taken with or without food. If your child dislikes the taste, you can mix the dose with a small amount of formula, milk, or juice.

  3. Does Omnicef change the color of the stool?

    • Yes, a common and harmless side effect is that the stool may turn reddish, especially if the child is taking iron supplements or iron-fortified products.

  4. How should the medicine be stored after reconstitution?

    • Store it at room temperature (20-25°C). Any leftover suspension must be discarded after 10 days of preparation.

  5. What should I do if my child vomits immediately after a dose?

    • If vomiting occurs within 30 minutes, consult your doctor; they usually recommend repeating the dose. If it has been longer than 30 minutes, do not repeat it.
